Martin Scorsese directs this film about the rise and fall of real life New York stock broker Jordon Belfort (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) Starting out with penny stocks and righteousness to IPOS and a life of corruption in the late 1980s. The Wolf of Wall Street is all about money, power, women and drugs.
From a personal viewpoint it was another pretty good film by Scorsese but I felt it dragged out a bit being three hours long. I’m no prude, but sometimes all the swearing, drugs and nudity got a bit much.
Leonardo DiCaprio does not disappoint though giving a good portrayal of a drink and drug fuelled sex maniac. I though Jonah Hill playing Donnie his business partner was a humorous character foil too.
